Charcoal is used to burn with any powder, resin or botanical loose incense. Simply ignite the briquette, wait for it to turn white around the edges and then you are ready to place the incense on it! We recommend usage of a half a briquette or 1 briquette per incense burn. There are 10 briquettes to a roll. Each brick is 1 1/4 in. wide x 1/2 in. thick, and may be broken apart for smaller amounts of incense.
